Original photos protected in the cloud privately
After uploading original photos to the cloud, only the uploader can access and download it again. Also the temporary download link is only valid for a short time. Used to prevent third parties from unrestricted sharing and dissemination of original image links on the Internet.
Automatic thumbnails in WebP format
After original photos are uploaded, the system will automatically generate thumbnails of different sizes in WebP format, and stored in different storage pools from the original photos, effectively physically separating the original photos from being accessible to the public.
Shortened URL sharing
Thumbnail links are shared as short URLs. And you can choose the size by setting the URL query parameter (ex. ?size=M). The sizes range from extra small to extra large, and the parameters that can be set are XS, S, M, L and XL.
Content delivery network (CDN) distribution
Thumbnails in the cloud will be distributed by content delivery network (CDN). This reduces communication delays caused by network complexity, speeds up photo loading, and saves bandwidth consumption.
Exif data extraction
The shooting information recorded in original photos, such as aperture, shutter, camera model, lens maker, geographical information, etc. It will be automatically extracted and stored in the database during the upload process in the photo management system.
Set assets private/public dynamically
All thumbnails in WebP format can be enabled or disabled in the photo management system. Control the display of photofeed, or access links of thumbnails in public/private.
